Welcoming more than one thousand “Packaging Partners” of all ages to package 350,000 meals in a single day at John Burroughs School is going to take a lot of help. In addition to or in lieu of serving on a packaging team, St. Louis World Food Day is looking for “100 Leadership Volunteers” to ensure that the day runs smoothly (volunteers sign up in four hour shifts during the day and evening of the event and on the day before the event for set up.)
“Leadership Volunteers” will receive a Commemorative shirt and onsite training. They:
- Must be 15 or older
- Can serve as greeters
- Can provide registration assistance
- Can supervise packaging
- Help escort packaging volunteers
- Assist with set-up, tear-down
Your assistance is critical to this effort to feed children in Tanzania and in our region!
