The St. Louis World Food Day food packaging event will rely on the enthusiasm and commitment of a diverse, cross-section of St. Louisans who will come together to raise awareness – and take action – to alleviate hunger in our community and around the world.
How Can You Help?
Be a Packaging Partner: Register as an individual or organize your own team and help package vitamin-fortified meals! We are looking for corporate, school, sports, youth, religious, scout and other teams of 8-10 people. Planning to attend as an individual or don’t have a whole table of 10? No problem! We’ll match you up with other committed volunteers and you will have a great time working side-by-side with others who want to make a difference.
Be A Leadership Volunteer: We also need teens (ages 15 and up) and adults to serve as Leadership Volunteers. We’ll outfit you in a commemorative St. Louis World Food Day shirt (yours to keep!) as you help make the day run smoothly, assisting with registration, greeting, or organizing our thousands of “Packaging Partners.” Become a Leadership Volunteer.
Be a Sponsor: Registration fees from our Packaging Partners help to defray only a portion of the cost of the meals assembled at the annual packaging. The majority of our financial support comes from sponsorships. St. Louis World Food Day, Inc., a 501c3 organization with no paid staff, relies heavily on the generosity of our corporate partners and supporters. Become a Sponsor.
Be a High School Ambassador: Organize a team of participants from your school! Become a High School Ambassador.
Spread the Word: Use Email, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to alert your friends, associates, classmates, colleagues and others about St. Louis World Food Day.
Facebook: LIKE us on Facebook (and share with others) here.
Hang Our 2017 Poster: You can post it wherever you hang out (the coffee shop, gym, etc.) Download the poster.
